Michelle began her career in journalism aspiring to become an investigative reporter. She learned to research as a fact-checker for a national political magazine, reverse-engineering arguments in articles by best-selling journalists to ensure their accuracy before publication. In subsequent reporting for niche financial publications, she interviewed subjects including William Lauder, then the CEO of Estee Lauder.

Before founding The Cassandra Group, Michelle spent nearly a decade working for FTI Consulting, a global litigation consulting firm, where she oversaw investigations on behalf of Fortune 500 companies, investment banks, and international law firms.

Michelle established The Cassandra Group to provide the same caliber of investigative excellence to a broader range of companies and law firms. She’s also passionate about using her investigative skills to advocate on behalf of non-profits.
